Festival season has begun. It’s time to pull out your boots and cutest looks, and party the night away. For those of you who might not know what we are talking about, British festival season starts from May, and has to be one of the most epic seasons each year. It’s a time to set up camp, listen to your favourite bands and potentially wear too much glitter. We round up a few of our favourite music festivals that are happening this year:
Isle of Wight- 21-24th June
One of the quintessential British festivals and famous for their stellar line ups. This year is their 50th Anniversary, and expect to see acts like Kasabian, The Killers and Depeche Mode. What to wear: Dr Martens, Timberlands and The OFFICE Ambassador Lace Up Boot.
Love Box- 13th-14th July
Calling all Londoners, this one if for you! (convenient location obviously). Held in Gunnersbury park, this festival is set to host all the coolest artists about. Whether you’re into Skpeta or Bonobo, the diverse line-up is set to please for all. What to wear: Vans Sk8 His, Fizzled Platform Trainers and The Ascend Cut out Ankle Boots.
Reading & Leeds- 24th-26th August
Well-known for their star studded line-ups and not for the faint hearted, Reading & Leeds is set to amaze. Expect large crowds and one big party. This year the likes of Kings of Leon, Kendrick Lamar and Travis Scott. What to wear: Dr Martens and Converse 70s.
Creamfields- 23rd- 26th of August
A festival that resonates with serious party goers. Where themes of EDM, Drum & Bass and Deep House make up this four day weekend. What to wear: Converse, Vans and Nikes.
Bestival- 2nd-5th of August
One of our personal favourites, due to the fabulous themes and installations. This festival is all about the dress-up and we suggest you get prepared forehand ( a circus theme is happening this year). What to wear: Converse, Dr Martens and OFFICE Mambo flatforms sandals.
Wilderness- 2nd-5th of August
This festival focuses on food (like thats a bad thing). The line up is worth a watch but if you’re after meals created by some of the best London chefs this festival is for you. What to wear: Converse 70s, Odessa Lace Up Gladiators and Birkenstock.
